Greg Rook
Greg Rook is a contemporary art advisor and dealer, and the founder of Blackbird Rook. He studied at Chelsea School of Art before completing his MA at Goldsmiths. A practicing artist, with work held in public and private collections internationally, he also spent two decades as a course leader and lecturer on BA Fine Art programmes across the UK.
Now, as a poacher-turned-gamekeeper, Rook offers collectors a rare combination of critical insight and commercial instinct. After nearly 30 years working within the art world as an artist, advisor and academic, Rook has unique access to artists and their studios, and a deep critical, historical and practical understanding of what constitutes genuinely great art.
