Leo Arnold
b. 1993
British artist Leo Arnold was born in London. He studied at the Glasgow School of Art and was a resident at De Ateliers in Amsterdam, where he currently lives and works.
Arnold’s paintings are romantic observations of his immediate surroundings, which he approaches and reapproaches, often creating multiple works on one theme, to reflect on his mental space.
Arnold has been the subject of exhibitions at Loveday, London; Annet Gelink Gallery, Amsterdam; De Ateliers, Amsterdam; and Giardino dello Zuccaro, Dorsoduro, Venice. His work is held in the collection of Stichting Kunst & Historisch Bezit ABN AMRO, Rabo Art Collection and ING Bank Collection.
