Oliver Bak
b. 1992
Danish artist Oliver Bak’s paintings blend echoes of art history with a dreamlike pull toward the present. His work often features hazy landscapes filled with people, animals and natural forms that seem to merge with their surroundings. With rich colours, layered textures, and a soft, glowing tension, his scenes explore quiet emotional drama – figures both hiding in and growing out of their world, caught somewhere between protection and expression.
Bak currently lives and works in Copenhagen. He is represented by Sprüth Magers and ADZ Gallery.
