Jamie Bull’s exhibition ‘SE4FSB’ opened at Ridley Road Project Space last week – we sent Isabel MacCarthy down to capture the vibes…
Last week, Ridley Road Project Space’s Woolwich outpost opened a garish, ghoulish, and gloriously grotesque presentation titled ‘SE4FSB’, of new works by artist Jamie Bull (aka 4FSB). “Bull treats the space as a thriving microcosm, where imagery, much like the humble cockroach, multiplies and infests its surroundings.” The exhibition, curated by Laurie Barron and Joe Bobowicz, who co-organise RRPS with artists George Henry Longly and Prem Sahib, drew a vibrant crowd. With a coven of scene staples and glamour goblins including East London’s eternal It-girl Princess Julia and many more. Naturally, we weren’t going to miss it — and neither should you. We dispatched photographer Isabel MacCarthy to snap the carnage. Did you make the cut?
