Much of the cast and crew of ‘Lost Property‘ descended upon Aarhus for the opening of Jenkin van Zyl’s major new film and installation at ARoS Museum ) marking the inaugural exhibition in the Salling Gallery, the museum’s new subterranean space for annual contemporary commissions. The night began with Barbs tickling the ivories above the crowd, followed by an abomination of Aperol Spritzes, a one-hour queue snaking through the museum to enter the installation, and DJ sets and performances that gave way to the last survivors sweating their greasepaint off in the aggressive fog machines of G-bar until morning.
