Last Thursday, artist Leonard Iheagwam, known professionally as Soldier, opened his solo show ‘Black Star’ at Kearsey & Gold. “I made the body of work for the series ‘Black Star’ to ask several questions, one of them being what the future looks like and how people of colour, people that look like me, fit into that world,” Soldier stated. We knew the show would draw in a great crowd, so we sent our photographer Freddi Losel-Ingham down to Cork Street to capture what went down.
