On Thursday night, Working Arts Club celebrated its 1st birthday. The club joined forces with Working Class Creatives, who were celebrating their 5th birthday, to bring the communities together for an unforgettable night at The Art House in Bethnal Green. The evening was jam-packed with killer work from artists Trackie McLeod, Shauna Cribbin and Elleanna Chapman, as well as a captivating reading from Sez Smith, a live séance by Claire Voyant to resurrect lost regional accents, an extra special guest appearance from Paul Chuckle, and more. We left with party bags in hand, having to be dragged away from a formidable wall of Seabrook crisps. It was one of the standout events of the summer so far, and we can’t wait to see what Working Arts Club gets up to next.
