Conor Joseph
Jewellery

Conor Joseph is a jewellery designer based in London. Each of the earrings in this collection are carefully crafted by hand in sterling silver, ensuring that no two items are exactly alike.

“For this collection I decided to prioritise an organic and natural aesthetic. I like to embrace imperfections in the design, which I believe adds to the authenticity and uniqueness of the jewellery. I created these pieces in sterling silver due to its durability, versatility and timeless appeal.” – Conor Joseph

Fredrik Nielsen
Glass ashtrays

Glass ashtrays and graffiti matches by Stockholm-based artist Fredrik Nielsen, available to buy in the Plaster Store

These ashtrays by Stockholm-based artist Fredrik Nielsen are cast using coloured glass made on a pipe (or glass punty). Nielsen then stamps the glass with an inverted solid steel stamp engraved with his phone number. Complete the vibe with his coordinating set of match boxes.

“I see them as ashtrays or business cards. A fine dining restaurant in Stockholm called Persona uses them as coasters for their wine servings.” – Fredrik Nielsen

Courtney MC
Jewellery

The crown of thorns necklace by Paris-based multi-hyphenate artist Courtney MC is entitled TALI, and is a symbol of suffering, sacrifice and retribution; a core theme of the Heroic Cycle.  It is a solid silver replica of the artist’s own neck tattoo, which was inspired by a 20th-century Russian prison tattoo. The necklace is the first piece from Courtney MC’s Memento Mori-inspired fine jewellery collection.

Dean JF Hoy

These two teddies form part of London-based artist Dean JF Hoy’s Bears Who Care soft sculpture project.

“Both soft sculptures, made from salvaged toys, exist in a limbo— Forgotten on charity shop shelves yet smothered with love and exhaustion. Both solitary and giving, sculptures that quietly emit care.”

Hurtence
Rain hats

Hurtence is a London-based millinery and accessories brand by Madeline Thornalley. These hats are available in three colourways and are all spray painted waxed cotton, a more lively addition to your average rainwear.

Garrett Davies, one of our early stars of The Radar, creates work using a blend of digital and physical media, including paint, alcohol on ink as well as digitally painted and edited elements that are reworked, printed, and scanned in repeatedly.

“I don’t start with a fixed inspiration, instead it’s more about capturing whatever I’m feeling at the time. I build up compositions instinctively and put them aside for hours, days, or even months. I come back and revisit them when I feel it is time to refine them. Once then I am able to shape a story out of the piece.”
