Shauna Cribbin is a London-based artist with a multi-faceted approach to collage, sculpture, printmaking and sound. Her work glamorises the mundane and elevates the everyday to celebratory heights by using mostly found objects such as tyres, steel, disco ball motors, magazines and scrap countertops. Such material and character choices aim to commemorate the resourcefulness of women working in service of their desires, exploring themes of escapism, desire and class structures.

Marietta Mavrokordatou’s work explores the possibilities of image-making through a personal narrative. She reimagines autobiographical elements from the audience’s perspective, creating new ways of relating to her own experiences. In her practice, photography becomes both a tool for representation and reflection, where the image simultaneously depicts the personal histories of the artist and the process of its own making.

Taiwanese-Canadian artist Ni Hao explores the intersections of geopolitics, environmental issues, sociology and digital culture in his work. Hao engages in an alchemical process of blending disparate ideas, often deconstructing and reassembling objects to reveal hidden emotional, historical and societal dimensions. Through mimicry and playful interaction, his art reflects on power structures, consumerism and the aesthetics of violence, offering insights into the latent metaphors and collective memories embedded in the everyday.
Age: 35
Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan
Last dream you had: Nearly all my dreams are filled with vast crowds—hundreds, even thousands of people at times. Sometimes they’re at openings, other times in open, indistinct spaces, always at night, with a few vaguely familiar faces among mostly strangers. I interact with them occasionally, but the details often slip away the moment I wake up
Favourite exhibition: The 9/11 Memorial Museum’s permanent collection. There is a multi-tonne anthropogenic meteorite on display, about the size of a compact sedan and roughly as tall as an average person
Favourite object you own: 20 small airplane pillows from multiple EVA airline flights—each nestled within a soft cotton cover embroidered with the airline’s logo. Not to be confused with the newer, flimsy paper-like versions. My plan was to steal enough to build an airplane pillow fortress. It’s still a work in progress
Favourite art-world Instagram account: Honestly, my algorithm is currently just speed-running schizogram and bombarding me with a lot of “educational” breastfeeding content
Favourite movie: Movies come and go, but the TV show Aqua Teen Hunger Force is truly timeless
Favourite artwork: Arseny Avraamov’s Symphony of Sirens, 1922
Loves: Nice, clean, pedicured feet, preferably with a simple anklet and one or two toe rings
Hates: Painters, especially the really attractive ones
End-of-year goals: TO NOT BLOW UP MY STUDIO!
