Anne Duk Hee Jordan
b. 1978
Korean-German artist Anne Duk Hee Jordan was born in Korea in 1978, and currently lives and works in Berlin. She studied at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin before gaining a Master’s in Fine Arts at the Institut für Raumexperimente in Berlin under Olafur Eliasson. Her work centres around themes of transience and transformation. Jordan uses humour and play in her sculptures, films and immersive installations to interrogate the relationship between humans and the environment.
Her work has been shown at HEK, Switzerland; Kunsthalle Mannheim, Germany; Gwangjiu Biennale, Korea; Public Art Agency Stockholm, Sweden; Georg Kolbe Museum, Berlin, Kunsthall Trondheim and The Seed Box, Norway; Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade, Serbia; KIOSK, Ghent, Belgium; The Bass, Miami and others.
