Francesca Mollett

b. 1991

Painter Francesca Mollett was born in Bristol in 1991. She received her MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art in 2020, having previously studied at the Royal Drawing School (2014 – 2015) and Wimbledon College of Arts (2011 – 2014). She currently lives and works in London.

Mollett evokes the slippery qualities of reflection and refraction, through expressive abstraction in her paintings. Her work can be found in the Green Family Art Foundation, Dallas, Texas; He Art Museum, Foshan, China; Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, Florida; K11 Art Foundation, Hong Kong; Kunstmuseum, The Hague; Pond Society, Shanghai; the Rachofsky Collection, Dallas, Texas; The Roberts Institute of Art, London and The University of Oxford, St Hilda’s College Art Collection, amongst others.
