Reginald Sylvester II, born in Jacksonville, Florida, now lives in Brooklyn, New York. Sylvester works in painting and sculpture. He makes use of abstraction, found objects, and shaped canvases and connects his work to art and architecture movements of the mid-20th century; abstract expressionism, minimalism, and Brutalism.
Sylvester holds a BA in Graphic Design from The Academy Of Art, University Of San Francisco.
